Raising the profile of Online Safety

On Thursday 12th June, Year 5 were very privileged to have a visit from Kent Police, and the Crime Commisioner himself, Matthew Scott. We talked about how to keep safe online and what preventative measures the police are using to protect young people online. It was very interesting to hear a different perspective and learn more about how to keep safe whilst using the Internet.

Year 6 also had a visit from PC Harrison from Kent Police, who discussed Internet Safety and protecting ourselves and others from the loop holes online.

We are always looking for ways to raise the profile of Online Safety at Hextable, if you have any contacts who could support us with this mission to educate our young people in becoming tech savvy, cyber secure citizens, then please do let us know.
