We are delighted to have our whole school community back together, with pupils in every year group enjoying learning in their new classrooms. However, we would like to remind you that if your child has the following symptoms, they should not attend school:
- A high temperature
- A new, continuous cough
- Loss or change to sense of smell and taste
If you or your child have any ONE of the above symptoms, then your household must self-isolate for 10 days from the start of the person’s symptoms or until a test has been taken and a negative result returned.
If your child displays any of these symptoms in school, we will contact you immediately and ask you to collect your child, and any siblings. You will be required to book a COVID-19 test. These can be arranged online: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/testing-and-tracing, or by calling 119.
You and anyone you live with must stay at home and self-isolate until you get your result. Anyone in your support bubble must also self-isolate until you get your result. Please use the following link for advice on self-isolating: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-stay-at-home-guidance/stay-at-home-guidance-for-households-with-possible-coronavirus-covid-19-infection
Please call the school office to let us know the results of any COVID-19 tests. We will require proof of any negative result in order for your child(ren) to return to school.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding.
