At Hextable Primary we offer the children lots of different clubs of sporting and creative natures. The new timetable will appear here as soon as we are able to run clubs again.


Lunchtime Clubs:

Chess- Mr Purton runs this club during a  Monday lunchtime. Learn the game or improve your tactics! For Years 4, 5 and 6.

News Club- Mrs Grosse runs news club for the older children in Years 5 and 6 on a Monday lunchtime. Children design the 'Hextable Primary School Newspaper'.

Arts and Crafts- This club is run by Miss Dennis for Years 1 and 2 on a Monday. Spend your lunchtime making, drawing, painting, and designing.

Cross-country - Mrs Hall runs this club on a Tuesday lunchtime. It is for all junior children. You will build up your fitness levels and be able to participate  in competitions against other schools.

Library Club- Run by Mrs Judd. Spend your Tuesday lunchtime in the library, reading for pleasure. You can choose to read alone or share stories with friends!

Dance and Cheerleading- This club is run by Miss Smith on a Tuesday lunchtime for Years 3 and 4. Learn new dance routines and have fun staying active with friends!

Just Dance- Mrs Chapman runs this club on a Tuesday lunchtime for Years 5 and 6. Have fun replicating the Just Dance routines with friends.

Multi-Sports- Mr Boulton comes in to run a multi-sports club for Year 2 on a Tuesday lunchtime. Have fun trying new ball skills and learning to work as a team in sports. 

Ball Games- Run by Teach School Sport on a Thursday lunchtime. This club is for Year 2 and is on the MUGA. Learn new skills and have fun with friends working in a team. 

Drama- Mrs Fleming runs the Drama Club on a Thursday lunchtime. Learn new dramatic techniques and how to engage an audience. The club perform plays and shows at school events such as the Christmas Fayre and Celebration of Learning. This club is open to all junior children.

Speed Stacking- Learn how to Speed Stack in a limited amount of time on a Thursday lunchtime. Miss Hammond runs this club. This club is open to all junior children. 

Recorders- If you are in Year 2, learn to play the recorder on a Thursday lunchtime with Mrs Hollands. 

Construction Club- Learn to construct the tallest towers and buildings made of Lego and Duplo! Run by Mrs Humphris on a Thursday lunchtime.

Home Learning- Mrs Hammond runs the Home Learning club on a Friday lunchtime. Bring along your homework and she will be there to assist you with anything you need. You will have access to the computers in the Green Room too!


After-School Clubs:

 Art- Art Club is run on a Monday by Miss Yussuf. During the first half of the Year this club is for Years 3 and 4 then for Years 5 and 6 during the second part of the year. Learn about different artistic techniques, then create and design based upon them.

Girls Football- The girls football club is run by Miss Sutton on a Monday. Learn the rules of the game to participate in competitions, representing the school. This club is open to children in Years 4, 5 and 6.

Choir- This club is run before school begins, it starts at 8.30 in the Junior Hall on a Tuesday. It is run by Mrs Randall. The choir sing at many school events such as Celebration of Learning and for the residents at Emersons Care Home. They also take part in the Young Voices event at the 02 arena. 

Forest School- Forest School for children in Years 1 and 2 is run by Miss Keech and Mrs Sparshott on a Tuesday evening. Be adventurous and take risks in a safe environment in the school's very own forest area. 

Dance/Performing Arts- Run by Miss Knapp and Miss Field. If you want to perform songs and dances and learn to become a budding actor, this is the club for you! Run on a Tuesday after school in the Infant Hall. Perform at school events such as the Celebration of Learning. This club is open to children in Years 1-6.

Tri-Golf- Take part in the Tri-Golf club on a Tuesday. Run by Miss Ranson, you will learn putting and chipping golf skills to take part school competitions. This club is open to children in Years 3-6.

Football- Take part in the Dartford Football Clubs's after school club. Coaches come to school to teach and train you new skills in football. Every Tuesday after school. This club is open to children in Years 1-6. (Please note this is a PAID club)

Gymnastics- Run by Teach School Sport on a Tuesday. Learn new gymnastics skills, moves and balances in a safe environment. Years 1 and 2. (Please note this is a PAID club)

French- Learn to speak French with Mrs Ives! Every Wednesday after school. For Years 3-6. (Please note this is a PAID club)

Forest School- Run by Mrs Stone every Thursday after school. Take risks and be adventurous in our school's very own forest area! For children in Years 3 and 4. 

Netball- Netball club is run by Mrs Hammond and Mrs Butler on a Thursday after school. Learn the skills of netball to take part in school competitions and tournaments! For Years 5 and 6.
