Choir

 Choir is run by Mrs Randall

Everyone is welcome!  From those who like to sing in the car and those who would like to audition as soloists!

 

We enjoy singing a wide range of modern hits, karaoke style songs and traditional choir arrangements.

When: Tuesday 8.30 - 9.00am

Who can come? Years 3 - 6

 

Our members have performed at the O2 with the Young Voices Choir.

 

 It was a truly amazing experience.

 

 Cross Country 

Cross-country club is run by Mrs. Hall. Develop your fitness, speed and stamina. There are competitions throughout the year so come along and you may be chosen to represent the school!

Drama

 Mrs. Fleming welcomes  children to  an experience of  group Role play, mime and activities to promote self-confidence, teamwork and  exploration of character. Guaranteed FUN !

Clothing: Own clothes that are able to get messy and muddy. Waterproofs and Welly boots would be advisable as the weather gets wetter and colder.

Forest School club is a fun and exciting way to develop children's skills of team work, independence, and perseverance. Each week the children will explore the outdoors through experiencing nature and the natural environment in a hands-on setting. We will go on nature walks, bug hunts, do mud paintings, build bug hotels and hedgehog houses, create stick men and enjoy sharing stories together in our log circle with a steamy cup of hot chocolate. We can't wait!

Home Learning

Who can come? Anyone for Year 2 to Year 6 who wants to get their home learning done! 

 

Library and Stories

Teacher: Mrs Thomas

Who can come? All children are welcome, accompanied by their parent/Carer.

When: Every Thursday 3.20 - 4pm in the new Library

Library Club is a relaxed time to explore books. You can pop in briefly to exchange a book or stay longer. You can listen to the story of the week, spend time book browsing, doing research for a particular interest or home learning, or simply relax and share stories with an adult.  There will also be special storytelling and craft events that will take place throughout the year so look out for these! You are welcome every week or simply on the odd occasion. We love cosy reading times so we are having shoes off in our new library so we can feel right at home!  Can't wait to see you!

 

 Netball

Netball club will be on Thursday after school from 3.30 - 4.30. for years 5 and 6. Boys and girls are very welcome - please come along and give netball a try - we are entered into the Dartford District League and will also be entering lots of tournaments. Mrs Hammond and Mrs Butler will be delighted to see you!

 

 

 

Year 4 Netball

Who can come?: Year 4 girls and boys 

At Year 4 netball club we will learn the skills and rules involved in playing netball. This is before we go to tournaments in Year 5/6. You will have the chance to play plenty of games and have lots of fun whilst doing so! 

 

News Club

 We are currently putting our first edition of the HPS Newspaper together.  Look out for our budding journalists and photographers investigating news-worthy events around the school. Check back soon for our first publication.
